Integrity Challenge 2010

Posted by Corey on February 8, 2010

Check out www.facebook.com/profc to participate in the 2010 Integrity Challenge.  The idea is to act with a bit of integrity each and every day.  The Facebook page will provide a target virtue and an act related to that virtue.  You have 24 hours to meet the challenge.  When you do, click the “like” button under the post.

It has been interesting to see how serious some people are taking this - that’s wonderful.  I have met them all so far and I feel much more content than I did before we started.  I am certain that Aristotle was right in stating that the good life may be achieved when a person strives to be habitually virtuous.

Join the challenge - your conscious will thank you!

I think that this challenge is something that the entire school should entice. It challenges students to not only act with integrity in the classroom, but to act with integrity outside the classroom as well. This is something that I find to be very important at Denver. Students who are challenge to act with integrity are going to go far in life. It was also for a good cause which adds to the project as well. Not only are students attempting to make the community a better place by they, themselves acting with integrity, but it also helps out local classrooms who are in need of basic supplies to get through the year. Its a double bang.

  2. Lauren Said,

This challenge has been a wonderful experience for everyone involved. When we did the experiment as a classroom, we were helping people who needed our assistance. The school we adopted needed funding for their special needs program. It is unfortunate that public school programs for students with disabilities are funded last. The teacher, a speech pathologist, seemed very excited about using the funds to help her students. However, the program also helped our class understand the extent to which our community needs help. The experiment was a healthy reminder that we are incredibly fortunate and should continue to give back to those who need our help. I’m proud to be apart of the first real rabbits challenge and can’t wait to see all the good that the sophomore business students will do next year!
